Veith House offers year-round Child and Youth programming and support!
Our programming room provides a safe, inclusive space for children and youth to be themselves and have fun!
We have lots of arts and crafts supplies, board games, electronics (computers, tv, Xbox, etc..), musical instruments, toys and more.
Hop Into Spring: Family Easter Egg Hunt
This Easter, join us for a day full of adventure and fun with the “Hop Into Spring: Family Easter Egg Hunt.” Saturday, April 19th, 10:30 AM to 1 PM. This exciting event will feature a pancake breakfast, unique egg hunts and memorable moments for all ages. Don’t miss out on this fantastic opportunity to celebrate Easter in a fun, vibrant, and family-friendly environment. We look forward to seeing you there!

April 30th PD Day!
Get ready for an exciting PD Day at the Discovery Centre! On April 30th, from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, the Veith House will be hosting a PD camp, with a trip to the Discovery Centre. Don’t forget to pack your child with a water bottle and some snacks - pizza lunch will be provided!

Kid's Poetry Workshop
Saturday, April 26th! 10 AM-12:30 PM
To celebrate National Poetry Month this April, the Veith House is excited to host a special poetry workshop, facilitated by the Writers Federation of Nova Scotia. This workshop is designed to introduce children to the world of poetry, spark their creativity, and encourage self-expression. Through engaging activities and fun exercises, participants will explore the joy of writing their own poems, while also learning valuable writing techniques and enhancing their language skills. The workshop will be held Satuday, April 26th from 10 AM to 12:30 PM.
